About the Event
On September 16, 1847, five Loretto sisters from Ireland, including Rev. Mother Teresa Dease (Foundress), landed at Cooper’s Wharf in Toronto. Today, on the anniversary of their arrival, we celebrate their bold pioneering spirit and contribution to the the history of the IBVM.
This event is celebrating their arrival and is a time for reflection.
