About the Event
The Mary Ward Centre has been accepted as an official workshop of the 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions, the world’s largest and most inclusive interfaith convening of people of faith, spirituality, and goodwill.
We are joining thousands of global participants answering the Parliament's call to conscience and advancing the organization’s mission to defend freedom and human rights.
Join us in Chicago on August 18th at 8am for a youth-led conversation on contemporary challenges to human rights and freedoms, including climate justice, gender equity, and threats to democratic processes.
Together, in a spirt of compassion and cooperation, we will uncover solutions that are relevant, effective, and meaningful.
Facilitators: Yusra Shafi, Riya Bhargava, Naomi Montgomery, Sr. Sarah Rudolph ibvm, Kathy Murtha
