About the Event

The Mary Ward Centre in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Toronto, The Toronto Catholic District School Board and the Intercultural Dialogue Institute, have designed this free event that will includ inspiring stories, music, poetry, dance, art and reflections. 

Our feature speaker is Cheryl Perera, founder of One Child (a non-profit youth organization addressing child trafficking). Cheryl is a young Catholic adult who has spoken at the United Nations and received the Order of Ontario award. 

The other speakers sharing their stories include: the Muslim founder of the Good Neighbours Project, Tareq Syed (hailed as a pandemic hero); the Urban Monk Bahnte Saranaplal and a Jewish "Good Samaritan", Nick Gunz (who was featured in several news networks recently).

Ages 16 and up are welcome to attend.

Today, Loretto Sisters in Canada work to accomplish the objectives of our mission statement in a variety of ways. These include works of education, promotion of justice and ministries of spirituality and pastoral care.
